Route by car

  • When you arrive from the highway E40, junction 38, take a right on the first roundabout to Nereth and Baelen, keep following the signs ‘Mont Dragon’

  • Some tourist route:
    From Maastricht (NL) : A12, take N278 to Margraten and follow your navigation

    From Liege (BE) : E42, take exit 37bis Thimister-Clermont towards Limbourg (village)

    From Luxembourg: E421, E42, take exit 11 Malmedy, follow navigation via N68


Route by bike

  • cycling junctions from Maastricht NL (42 km):
    79, 6, 65, 66, 71,82-84, 428, 427,426, 53,54, 72-74, 14, 13, 24, 23, at 36 turn left and follow navigation

  • cycling junctions from Aachen DE (29km, 360m up 320m down)
    6km navigation from Haufstbahnhof (trainstation) Aachen to Dreilanderecke (BE), 91, 3,6,4,7,10, 11, 12, 23, 35, follow navigation.

  • cycling junctions from Vennbahn Raeren:
    48, navigation to junction; 30, 45, follow navigation from there through the countryside (12.8km)

  • from Eupen train station: follow navigation and take the 4.8km road through the countryside


Route by foot

  • Eupen train station, see bike route navigation

  • GR15: in the months june-september we have a hanging bridge across the river. it is small and challenging, but it makes that you can follow the GR15 route towards the campsite. The navigation will let you walk via the main road: quite a detour and with fast driving cars. Of course it is up to you.

Public transportation

  • There is a bus stop right in front of our campsite called ‘Doum’ , bus 724 Eupen - Verviers (every 90 minutes)
